youngest sister in law had a new job in a hotel recently. few days ago she came back with a surprise! the hotel wants chenchen to be a model in their phamplet!

the shooting will be this week, but time & date wasn't confirm, so we are anxiously waiting!!!

looking forward to a holiday trip

this year is coming to its end. & as always, i yearn for a holiday trip to "Rest & Relax". so where shall we go?

Australia Gold Coast? Hong Kong Disneyland?

now with 2 kids, i always look out for this type of theme parks so the boys won't feel bored.

but now, i also realise, it's not easy to go for a holiday. when i was young, my friends will do all the necessary bookings. (i was the youngest, they are older.) now, just browsing through the phamplets or websites, i was confused and cannot decide to do what first.

but for sure, hotels & air tickets must be booked in advance. thus, searching the cheapest rate for these 2 is a must!

during year end, lots of competition can be seen. (horray for us!!) with this tough situation, i've found 1 site call "CheaperthanHotels South Africa" but it's not just South Africa, there's other links to European Countries (& many others) as well.

and so, i shall slowly browse through this site, then decide where to go next year.

mummy's nightmare

2 nights ago, i had a terrible nightmare. but funny thing is, i didn't wake up in cold sweat or heart pounding.

it started when i brought the boys out to meet a friend. after that, we went to Marina Bay or Square (?), i cannot be sure because i remembered we stood by Singapore River. and there are a lot of contructions working: they are building new shop lots along both side.

after that, we went inside the shopping center, and very fast, we are home. & my mom ask me "where is yu chen?" only then, i realise yu chen didn't follow me home!!

i feel so horrible and horrified!! hurried back to the shopping center and get the security to help me find him.

right there, i woke up. i took a deep breath, then turn to check on them, especially if chenchen is still breathing. (because they love to sleep on their tummy)

i've been seeing this gadget - Digg on a lot of blogs and websites. & i tell myself "i must add this gadget ONE OF THESE DAYS."

somehow, i could not find 'one of these days' through my pile of stuff. and even worse when my boys fall sick so often lately. (all the curses to viruses and germs!!)

maybe, just maybe, i can get it done by end of the year.

sibling's love

i have no doubt on my boys' sibling's love, especially gorgor towards didi.

today is 1st august. they have long waited for this month to come. firstly, its their birthdays. then, we "promise" chen if he throw away his old zhutzhut, we will buy a new 1 - Thomas the tank engine design in august or September his birthday.

and suddenly, heng remembers our 'promise' and he tells me
"mummy today is august orady!! we mus go get thomas zhutzhut"

sudden burst of cold sweat. i look at didi, he didn't seem to respond to gorgor's line.

so i tell both of them "ok, but must see the zhutzhut then can buy right??"

*phew!!!!!!

time flies in bullet speed - it's august already. time for birthday planning.

if we are lucky, we can go Singapore and meet up with my friends. (due to the increase cases of H1N1 cases, hub worry and ask us don't go back. but the boys' faces sank immediately.)

heng's birthday is always in the school holidays, lucky him! this time he wanted to celebrate in Singapore, i told him, how about we celebrate in Malacca - he rejected my 'offer'.

anyway, saw this cafe in Bugis Junction when i am searching for Wong Kok Char Chan Teng. (because there's birthday offers & i have vouchers)

boys' clothings

hengheng is super sensitive to the cloth's label at the back of the shirts. many a times, we have to remove the label so he is willing to wear.

lucky chenchen is less fussy, so buying him new clothes is a lot happier experience. but i was very frustrated by the number sizes on all the brands' labels. does a 3 year old wear a size number 3? does Medium = 3-4 years old clothings??

recently saw a buying guide from Shopwiki.com and it helps me get a clearer picture.

very seldom we buy toys for the boys, we prefer books and reading material. but the toys in Shopwiki.com is very educational! (and very much to my likings ^_^)
